Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She competes currently in the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister and a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began with her debut as a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina followed it up and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008, a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia, who began her career as a professional in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships also held in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina's last fight was in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002 when she took on Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won this fight with a TKO in round 2 and the following two matches were staged during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer, and took a long absence of MMA. She was back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11.
