Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Master's education from the University of Miami. Kolber began her career working at CBS Sports New York City in the position of video coordinator. She was awarded a Local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV which is located in Miami. In addition, she was a reporter for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. The station hired her as anchor on ESPN2 at the beginning of 1993. The time she worked at ESPN2 ran for three years. Then she moved to Fox Sports. Then she returned to ESPN which is where she now hosts 'Monday Night Countdown.'
