Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with distinction) in Communications and Theatre. When she moved to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing for more than two dozen musical and stage productions like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. As she continued to learn the art of improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and film. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to take on a wide variety of characters. She was known to the people for her role of the evil Samara along with Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But Kelly is more well-known as the cheerful and bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper at-night as a Series Regular in The TV Land show The Exes. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been heard in numerous shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. In recent times, she was in the role of the charming but dimwitted Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's well-known comedy Superstore. Her private life is one that's quite quiet with her two sons under the age of five. She is a lover of sewing and write and volunteers in various school activities.
