Claire Elise Bocher,/bu:'SeI/boo:SHAY born March 17, 1988. She is known as Grimes. [2][3] Her early work was described as moving from "lo-fi R&B" to futuristic dance-pop. She has also incorporated influences from electronic music, hip hop, as well as rock. She often uses science fiction and feminist themes within the lyrics. Grimes has released five studio albums. Growing up in Vancouver (later shifting from there to Montreal), Grimes began making music on her own at the end of the 2000s and released two albums, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa which were released in 2010, on Arbutus Records. In 2012, Visions will be her third studio effort. Grimes signed with 4AD. Visions comprises the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as the Canadian music industry Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year. Her fourth studio album Art Angels was released in the year 2015. It received high praise by critics and a variety of journals voted it as the best album of the year. Sixteen years later, her fifth album Miss Anthropocene, was released in 2020. Beyond the music industry, Grimes had a voice part in the action role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge for the music competition game program Alter Ego. Georges Georges Grimes
