Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson in the role of reporter. She also played as a support character on the show with a short run The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the third season. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, at which point her mom and she moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a while before setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became fascinated by photography, acting as well as singing around the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue her acting career.
